What is One Piece. One piece is a written Japanese manga and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has serialized in Shueisha Weekly Shonen SHONEN SHONEN MAGAZER Since July 1997, with its different chapters compiled in 100 volumes Tankōbon as of September 2021. 

The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a child whose body won The properties of rubber after eating without wanting a devil's fruit. With the crew of pirates of him, called the straw hat, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's final treasure known as "a piece" in order to become the next king of pirates.

The manga resulted in a media franchise, having been adapted in a festival film produced by Production IG, and a series of anime produced by Toei Animation, which began to emit in Japan in 1999. In addition, Toei has developed fourteen Feature films of animation, an OVA and thirteen special television. Several companies have developed several types of merchandising and the media, such as a set of collectable letters and numerous video games. 

The manga was licensed for an English launch in North America and the United Kingdom by Viz Media and Australia by Madman Entertainment. The Anime Series was licensed by 4Kids Entertainment for an English launch in North America in 2004, before the license was reduced and subsequently acquired by Funimation in 2007.

One piece has received praise for its narration, art, characterization and humor. Several volumes of the manga have broken the publication of the records, including the largest initial shot of a book in Japan. In 2015, a piece established the Guinness World Record by "most of the edited specimens by the same series of comics by a single author". It was the best-selling sleeve for eleven consecutive years between 2008 and 2018. 

One piece is the only manga that had an initial impression of volumes greater than 3 million continuously for more than 10 years and also, the first sleeve to achieve more than 1 Millions of copies sold on all their 100 published Tankōbon volumes. As of July 2021, the manga had more than 490 million copies in circulation in 58 countries and regions of the world, so it is the best-selling manga in history. One piece is also one of the franchises of the media of more collection of all time.
